About us
Sydney Seals Freediving Club is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run club supporting the development and growth of freedivers in Sydney and surrounding regions. We run pool training, competitions, depth sessions, fun dives, masterclasses, and workshops.
We are an affiliated club of the Australian Freediving Association (AFA).

Everything we do grows from these principles.
Training and events
Join us at pool training where you can expect a structured program to progress your pool disciplines alongside fellow Seals. Beginners and all levels are welcome.
Pool training currently runs on Tuesday evenings at Marrickville. Once you become a member, submit an expression of interest to join. Training fees cover lane hire; pool entry is separate.
We also organise depth sessions, fun dives, masterclasses, competitions, and beach clean-ups throughout the year.

Want to join? We're sealiously excited! Membership covers one year with Sydney Seals and the AFA, which you need to compete in any AFA freediving competition in Australia.
As a not-for-profit, all fees go back to the Club's purposes. For in-water events, you will need a freediving certification—please ask us if you have any questions.
