Join the Seals and dive deeper together
Membership with the Sydney Seals gives you access to pool training, competitions, masterclasses, fun dives, and community events. As a member, you also join the Australian Freediving Association (AFA) and are covered by third-party liability insurance for all approved club activities.

Annual membership is $125, which covers:

Some events and activities come at an additional cost. The club does its best to keep costs as low as possible for members.
Safety induction
All new members must complete a safety induction before starting pool training. The induction covers the club's diving protocols, buddy procedures, and simulated water rescues. Once you join, we will help you schedule your induction.
How to join

- Select Sydney Seals Freediving Club as your club.
- Complete your payment ($125 covers your AUF, AFA, and SSFC membership for one year).
- We will be in touch to schedule your safety induction and get you set up on our WhatsApp group.
You will need a freediving certification to participate in our in-water activities. If you do not have one yet, ask us and we can point you to schools and instructors in Sydney.
Events and merch
We use TeamApp to manage event bookings and sell club merchandise. Once you join, you can browse upcoming events and grab some Seals gear. Here are some examples below.
